10.45 ESFRI Roadmap
 |
Robert McGreevy
The ESFRI roadmap was published on 19th October 2006.
35 projects on the roadmap of which 11 are over 0.5 billion euros.
The roadmap is not a priority list of facilities that will definitely be built in the future and does not include any projects linked to CERN or ESA.
ESFRI roadmap is a rolling programme and new ideas and projects will be considered in the future.
Feedback on the process to ESFRI:
Inconsistency regarding how projects came to be considered.
In future consultations there should be a bottom up process so that all projects can be fed in.
a web based system would have been more effective contacting national delegates.
ESFRI must ensure that future consultations have clear guidelines
